Seeds: Beaded bracelet made by 8mm mini rudraksha 金刚菩提 seeds from Indonesia java island. An old batch from my personal collection.

There are three countries produce Rudraksha beads – India, Nepal and Indonesia. Rudraksha beads from Indonesia are usually in small-sized but with meaty nice surface. The scientific name of tree is known as Elaeocarpus ganitrus (the locals often call them genitri).

Each type of rudraksha beads (either from Nepal, India or Indonesia) with a specific number of mukhi 瓣数, is believed to offer various spiritual benefits.
